November 2022: An opening for the art exhibit “Pastiche” will take place in the Smiley Building upstairs gallery on Thursday, November 10, from 5-7 pm. “Pastiche” is the work of seven local artists (Cindy Coleman, Jenny Treanor, Amanda Preston Araujo, Amy Vaclav, Bethany Bachmann, Linda Geer, and Janet Kenna) who interpreted 8 works of art ranging from Matisse and Van Gogh to more contemporary artists in a variety of media including pastel, painting, quilting, fiber collage, wool and silk arts, stained glass, glass mosaic, beads, thread and mixed media. The exhibit will run through January 7.
